Away Electives

We are very supportive of our residents doing away electives if they would like. Global Health Away Electives occur regularly, and residents have traveled to places like Zambia, Haiti, Estonia, Bolivia, and Central America. Residents have also pursued subspecialty away electives such as Allergy & Immunology, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Programs, and more at other institutions. All away rotations are subject to approval by the Med-Peds program director and categorical program director, as well as approval from the graduate medical education office.
