Med-Peds Pre-Clinic Conference

We use the Yale Primary Care Pediatrics Curriculum as well as the Yale Office-Based Medicine Curriculum to review high-yield outpatient topics each week throughout the academic year. Residents and Faculty are provided with cases and articles ahead of time to review, then each continuity clinic group comes together to discuss the topic for the week and work through each case before continuity clinic begins. Pre-Clinic Conferences are typically resident led and interactive. In addition to the Yale Curriculum, we also incorporate our Quality Improvement Curriculum as well as our Point-Of-Care Ultrasound Curriculum into Pre-Clinic Conference time throughout the year to continue to build these necessary skills.
